An artist who took 2019 by storm, Damion Houchen (aka Genix) kicks off his year with a fearsome pairing in ‘Ba55 Camp / Rave Daze’, the latest excerpts from his Anjunabeats Worldwide 09 compilation. Damo’s latest double-header is a nod back to the classic rave scene, evoking the sounds conjured by artists such as The Future Sound of London, Underworld and Leftfield.

Inspired by his world record-breaking 'highest altitude DJ set' at Mount Everest's base camp last year, Damo goes into further detail on the experience behind ‘Ba55 Camp' - “To stand in the Himalayas feeling so small amongst huge mountains was something I will never forget. It was overpowering, overwhelming and really puts everything into perspective. It was an opportunity to clear the mind, have no worry or stress and to admire what our planet has to offer. I dedicated my track 'Ba55 Camp' to this experience”.

Genix’s world tour in support of the compilation is in full swing with headline shows across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia all lined up over the coming months.
