Emerging producer Motives remixes Le Youth’s ‘Miraje’.

Wes James, aka Le Youth, has been a force in dance music since his crossover hits ‘C O O L’ and ‘Dance With Me’ stormed the UK charts in 2013. He’s previously released on Lane 8’s This Never Happened imprint, and runs his own label and event brand, PRGRSSN.

He made his Anjunabeats debut in summer 2020 with ‘Gemini / Arizona’. The double A-side was supported by Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, Tritonal and more, with ‘Arizona’ meriting a feature on A&B’s Anjunabeats Volume 15 compilation. Wes returned to the label with ‘Miraje’ in May 2021.

‘Miraje’ has now been remixed by Motives, aka Ben Kane. Hailing from Washington DC, his sound is inspired by all corners of house, techno and beyond. He’s made a home for himself on Le Youth’s PRGRSSN label, releasing the ‘Solace EP’ in November 2020.
