Anjunadeep is thrilled to release ‘Inhibitions’, a colossal collaboration between label favourites Nox Vahn and Joseph Ray.

Lucky fans would’ve heard ‘Inhibitions’ in rousing sets over the past six months, including Nox Vahn’s set at Anjunadeep Explorations, and Ray’s at Anjunadeep Open Air: New York. ‘Inhibitions’ stands out for its gritty, growling hook that bends through an array of all-enveloping sound design - elements characteristic of both artist's solo work.

The single follows Ray’s recent single ‘Changing Lanes’, and his 2021 collaborative album ‘Leave the Bones’, written and recorded with Haitian band Lakou Mizik. The latter was celebrated by the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM, Billboard, and The Times. Nox Vahn’s prolific output has been supported by the likes of Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Rüfüs Du Sol, Lane 8, and Jeremy Olander, and includes hits such as 2020’s ‘Come Together’ and 2019’s ‘Brainwasher'.
